Minimum Requirements: • Must have at least 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree providing project management oversight and leadership. • Must have demonstrated project management skills (PMP Preferred) • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact and be involved with client negotiations and interfacing with senior management • Must have proven knowledge of Change and Configuration Management best practices (knowledge of DHS Change Management Processes preferred) • Must have experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets Desired Requirements: • Experience in managing Tier level operations support using a modern IT System Management tool such as ServiceNow or ChangeGear.
Responsibilities: • The Project Manager shall be available via telephone between the hours of 8:00 AM -5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, and shall respond to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 8 hours of notification. • System Activity Report that presents help desk ticket statistics, trend analysis, and other data relevant to service desk operations. • Monthly Status Report to be delivered with the invoice summarizing the activities for the period, upcoming activities, deliverable status, and risks. • Onboarding, offboarding and status of contract staff preparing to be onboarded. • Ensure collaboration, transparency, and quality review/inspection. • Shall participate in planning sessions and reviews as needed to represent work performed under the contract and also to provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on aspects of agency’s program operations • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with the Government Agency’s procedures. • Monitor cost and deliverables under this program and provide a monthly report itemizing labor. • Meetings and reviews shall include: 1. Service Desk Standup to address issues in the ticket queue, security items, and work scheduled 2. Service Desk Status Meeting during which the Project Manager present project status, action items, issues, and risks 3. Project Management Review (PMR) that presents information including: a. Activities during the last period b. Organizational structure and staffing c. Schedule and milestone status d. Help desk ticket status and trends e. Planned and unplanned outages. f. Deliverable status g. Risks, issues, and action items h. Upcoming activities.
